Dr. Heather Edgar’s work expands the number of CT scans available for researchers looking to make positive identifications of deceased people. The sample size in a widely used database is woefully inadequate, leading to delays and in some cases misidentifications of a person’s population affinity.
HANNAH CANTRELL ACCEPTED INTO THE MCNAIR PROGRAM

The McNair program here at UNM accepts high achieving undergraduate students interested in pursuing Master's or Doctoral degrees. The program allows students to conduct research with faculty mentors in preparation for graduate school. Our lab member, Hannah Cantrell, was accepted into the program and is now in the early stages of her research.
